Encounter Bay Netball Club

Taught and Bowled, in conjunction with Encounter Bay Netball Club are pleased to offer two different programs to players this season. These sessions will be delivered at the Encounter Bay netball courts by experienced, accredited Taught and Bowled netball coaches.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT CLINICS

CLINIC 1 - COMPLETED

U9/U11/U13 players

When: Sunday 15 May, 10:30-12:30pm

What: Core Skills - players rotate through four different activities focusing on attacking move, one on one defence, passing/ball skills and footwork.

CLINIC 2

U9/U11/U13 players

When: Sunday 24 July, 10:30am-12:30pm

What: Area Specific Skills - players rotate through four different activities focusing on goal shooting, defending in the circle, passing/ball skills and court structure.

CLINIC 3 - CANCELLED

U17/Senior

When: Sunday 15 May, 1:00-3:30pm

What: Advanced Skills - players choose one area of the court (goals, mid court, circle defence) and spend 1.5 hrs working on that specific area, followed by game sense activities.

CLINIC 4

U17/Senior

When: Sunday 24 July, 1:00-3:30pm

What: Players work through court structure, throw-ins, centre pass options, screens and different types of defence, followed by match play.

NETBALL CAMP

U9/U11/U13/U17

When: Wednesday 13, Thursday 14 and Friday 15 July, 10:30-4:00pm each day

What: Players are split into groups based on their age and rotate through age appropriate activities in the morning (10:30am-12:30pm) and then complete match play and theory sessions in the afternoon.

Cost: $180+gst/participant

Each player will receive a Taught and Bowled sweatband and hair ribbon.
