Linden Park PS - Multi-Sport Program

Taught and Bowled will be offering a multi-sport program for Reception and Year 1 student at Linden Park Primary School during Term 1, 2020.

The program will focus on developing the children's fundamental motor skills (FMS) through playing various sports including soccer, basketball, cricket, Frisbee, netball and fun team games. The FMS that will be taught include:

  • Locomotor - running, jumping, hopping, galloping, rolling, leaging and dodging.
  • Manipulative - throwing, catching, kicking, striking and trapping.
  • Stability - balance, twisting, turning and bending.

The program will be delivered by experienced staff, with all equipment supplied. Parents/guardians will be required to take their child from the classroom and meet the coach at the Sanders Oval flag poles and sign them in. Parents/guardians are encouraged to stay during the session and join in the activities with their child. The activities we do can be replicated at home, so our sessions are a great place to practice!
