School Holiday Cricket Camps
Taught and Bowled is offering cricket camps during the October and summer school holidays.
Each camp runs for three days. The October camp will be held at ICA Sportzworx Stepney and the December and January camps will be held at Parkinson Oval, Kensington Gardens Reserve. The camps are a great way to improve your skills, to have fun and to get your cricket fix during the school holidays.
The camps are open to cricketers 7-11 years of age and are ideal for a young cricketer who is playing school or club cricket.
Dates
There are three camps available:
- October Camp: Wednesday Oct 1, Thursday Oct 2 and Friday Oct 3, 2:30-5:30pm each day
- December Camp: Monday Dec 15, Tuesday Dec 16 and Wednesday Dec 17, 8:30-11:30am each day
- January Camp: Monday Jan 19, Tuesday Jan 20 and Wednesday Jan 21, 8:30-11:30am each day
Activities
All sessions will be run by qualified coaches and all facets of cricket will be covered;
- fitness
- batting skills
- bowling skills
- fielding skills
- wicket keeping skills
The third day of each camp is our 'Match Day' where players will get to play games of cricket against each other.
Venues
October: ICA Sportzworx Stepney, Stepney Street, Stepney - entry off Magill Road
December & January: Parkinson Oval, Kensington Gardens Reserve - entry off West Terrace, Kensington Gardens.
